McGee Films is a multi award-winning British Film company founded by father and son duo Tony McGee and Max McGee. The company focuses on creating exciting, new content and exploring contemporary themes.
Tony McGee is a world renowned director and fashion photographer, having photographed covers for Vogue and icons such as David Bowie, George Michael, Diana Ross and Kate Moss. He has also directed over 150 commercials in his career for clients such as L’Oreal, Boots no. 7, Revlon and Bourjois and famously won the coveted Cannes Lions award. Drawing on this experience, he is now focusing on directing both short and feature films. He directed McGee Films’ multi award-winning London Trilogy of ‘Shattered’, ‘Auto’ and ‘Thames’ and co-directed ‘Our Fathers’ with Max.
Max McGee is a multi award-winning actor and filmmaker from London. He is the co-founder of McGee Films whose productions include the Amazon Prime Video 'London Trilogy' of films: Shattered, Auto and Thames. The trilogy was awarded fourteen international film festival awards, including three Best Actor nominations for Max. Max also wrote and directed award-winning films Karma , Our Fathers and The Last Train Home which released on Amazon Prime Video in 2025. The film received awards in film festivals at Pinewood Studios, London, Amsterdam and Tokyo. Max also directs television commercials and music videos, including artists such as Crystal Waters and Montell Jordan.
Max’s latest documentary The Knowledge is due to release in late 2025.
