Two undercover Metropolitan Police officers are called to a knife crime that questions their responsibility as fathers.

Written by Max McGee. Directed by Tony McGee & Max McGee. Starring Max McGee as ‘CID Detective George Taylor’, Malik Kaddu as ‘CID Detective Vincent Akello’ and Joshua Cameron as ‘Vincent Akello Junior’. The principal photography of the film was shot in one day on the streets of East London.

OUR FATHERS premiered at Soho House and is travelling the international film festival circuit in 2023.

KARMA

KARMA is written & directed by Max McGee. Produced by Tony McGee.

The film stars Chloe Sweetlove as ‘Karma’ and Nicole Joseph as ‘Destiny’, two adolescent girls that scheme wealthy men out of their millions and convert it into cryptocurrency. However, they soon learn that another hacker is actually scamming them, with potentially deadly consequences.

Jackie & Marilyn: The Hat Box - An Original Series

‘Jackie & Marilyn: The Hat Box’ is McGee Films’ latest production. This thrilling Original Series explores the explosive meeting between Jackie Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe in July 1962.

The pilot episode is set at Truman Capote’s Brooklyn Heights apartment, 4 weeks before Marilyn Monroe’s death from an apparent drug overdose. This eight episode limited series aims to uncover the events of July 8th 1962 in a non-linear manner. If we consider the pilot episode as near to the conclusion of the story explored, the proceeding episodes will dive into the events that lead the three principle characters (Jackie, Marilyn, Truman) to the eventual meeting at Truman Capote’s apartment on July 8th, 1962.

There will be two episodes on each character. Each episode will begin at their childhoods and eventually their journeys to becoming icons. Following this, the eighth and final episode will begin after the events of the pilot episode and lead up to Marilyn Monroe’s death, which occurred only four weeks after her meeting with Jackie Kennedy.

Jackie & Marilyn: The Hat Box was written by Max McGee. Max is also set to appear as ‘Scott Masterson’ in the film, Truman Capote’s award-winning filmmaking accomplice. Tony McGee is set to direct.

AUTO

An ex-military gun-for-hire is tasked with transporting a vehicle across London at night, during a global pandemic. However, he experiences flashbacks to a traumatic mission in Iraq as he races towards his destination.

AUTO was written by Max McGee, who also plays the lead role of ‘Gun’. Tony McGee directed. It is the second instalment of McGee Films’ award-winning ‘London Trilogy’ of short films. It was also the first film to be written, produced and released on Amazon Prime during the global pandemic.

Shattered

Over the course of one day, a criminal defence lawyer is forced to confront his personal demons and make the ultimate decision: to continue living behind a facade or accept himself for who he is.

Glass and its reflective properties are used as a motif throughout the film, specifically, that glass appears to be strong, protective and transparent but in reality, is fragile and easily shattered. The film also explores the disruptive impact modern day technology has on our everyday lives. The film was shot in the City of London and makes great use of its rapidly expanding architectural landscape.

Shattered is written by and starring Max McGee and directed by Tony McGee. It is the first instalment of McGee Films’ award-winning ‘London Trilogy’ of short films.

The film was privately screened to industry professionals at the Dolby EMEA Screening room in Soho Square, London on 19th February 2020. The film presentation was followed by a Q&A with Max McGee.

Shattered subsequently achieved a Semi-Final place at Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival 2020.
